These lentil patties are better than meat! Protein rich, easy patties recipe!

I’ll be sharing a delicious and easy lentil patty recipe with you! These patties are great for lunch or dinner, delicious, and packed with protein. Soak 1 1/2 cups (285g) of dry red lentils in enough water to cover them by about 2 inches for 2 hours. This is a very simple recipe that everyone can make at home. Just follow my step-by-step instructions. Vegans really enjoy this recipe, and for non-vegans, it’ll be a pleasant surprise how tasty these lentil patties are! Add drained lentils to a food processor. Chop 1 large onion and add it to the food processor. Crush 2 garlic cloves and add them too. Write a review or ask a question about the recipe. I’ll be happy to respond. Grate 1 small carrot. Chop 15g (1/4 cup) fresh parsley. Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Pulse the food processor until the ingredients are well mixed. The mixture will be sticky. Don’t worry, that’s normal, that’s how it should be 🙂 Heat a little olive oil in a non-stick pan. Spoon out 1/4 cup of the mixture at a time. Shape into patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Cook patties for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
