Crispy and Delicious Oven-Baked Cauliflower

If you are looking for a delicious and healthy snack or a delectable side dish, then this easy-to-follow recipe is perfect for you. With just a few simple steps, you can transform a simple head of cauliflower into a crispy and golden delight that will surely satisfy your taste buds.

Ingredients
1 head of cauliflower
Salt, to taste
A pinch of nutmeg
For the Batter:
A dash of sweet paprika powder
2 eggs
2 cloves garlic, minced
A bit of grated nutmeg
A pinch of salt
Preparation

Prep the Cauliflower:
Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). Take a head of cauliflower and remove any green leaves. Rinse it thoroughly under cold water. Next, place the cauliflower on a cutting board and carefully cut off the florets, aiming for bite-sized pieces. Place the florets in a colander or strainer and wash them well, allowing the excess water to drain off.

Prepare the Batter:

In a mixing bowl, combine the wheat flour and sweet paprika powder. In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and beat them until well blended. Gradually pour the melted butter into the beaten eggs while continuously whisking. Add the minced garlic, grated nutmeg, and a pinch of salt to the egg mixture and mix well. Slowly pour the egg mixture into the bowl with the flour and paprika powder, stirring until the batter is smooth and all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Coat the Cauliflower:

Take each cauliflower floret and dip it into the batter, making sure it is coated evenly. Allow any excess batter to drip off. Place the coated florets onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure to leave space between each floret for even baking. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and nutmeg over the top of the coated cauliflower.

Bake and Enjoy:

Once your oven has reached the desired temperature, carefully slide the baking sheet with the cauliflower into the oven. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown with a crispy texture. Remove the cauliflower from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. You can enjoy your crispy oven-baked cauliflower as a snack, side dish, or appetizer. Dip it in your favorite sauce for an extra burst of flavor.

We hope you enjoy this recipe and that it brings a tasty and crispy addition to your culinary repertoire. Happy cooking!
