Turmeric Eye Compress for Inflammation

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • Clean cloth or cotton pad

Instructions:

  1. Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder in 1 cup of warm water. Stir well until the turmeric is fully dissolved.
  2. Soak a clean cloth or cotton pad in the turmeric solution.
  3. Gently apply the cloth or pad over your closed eyelids for 5–10 minutes.
  4. Remove and rinse your face with lukewarm water.

Benefits:

Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties can help reduce swelling, redness, and irritation around the eyes. However, avoid getting turmeric directly into the eye, as it may cause discomfort.

Note: Always consult with a healthcare professional before applying turmeric near sensitive areas like the eyes.
